Apple Is Getting Real About Augmented Reality
It has been reported time and again that Apple is going to embrace augmented reality in a big way by bringing this technology to the iPhone. Some reports have even suggested that it’s working on a pair of augmented reality glasses. The company reportedly has hundreds of engineers working on AR and its team is reportedly made up of people it has poached from Microsoft’s HoloLens team as well as from Oculus. Bloomberg reports that one of the first iPhone 8 augmented reality features might enable users to take a picture and then change the depth of the entire photo or of specific objects.Another feature would enable users to isolate an object in the image and tilt it 180 degrees.
