Sprint launches subsidized IdeaPad S205s netbook for $199.99 on contract

(Credit: Screenshot by Lance Whitney/CNET) You can now grab a 4G Lenovo IdeaPad for only $200 courtesy of Sprint. But you'll be locked in for two years, and Sprint's 4G flavor of choice is WiMax. The IdeaPad S205s will cost exactly $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate through a reward card. Sprint is selling the subsidized Netbook at its various retail stores and online outlet. Lenovo's IdeaPad offers a dual-core 1.33GHZ processor, 2 GB of memory, an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 HD LED widescreen display, a 250 GB hard drive, Windows 7 Home Premium, 5-hour battery life, and a host of other features. So $200 isn't a bad price for such a beefy Netbook. But when you factor in all the details, the deal doesn't quite hold up.
